Since I am not going to Weight Watcher’s meetings, I will be giving a weekly update here on my blog on how things are going, so here is week one’s update:
I have completed my first week on Weight Watcher’s and lost 5 lbs! I am sure that most of it was water weight, so I am not expecting the next five to shed quiet as fast. During this first week it really got me to start thinking more about what I am eating and has me thinking about an experiment in the future. Even though I am staying within my points range and not using my weekly “bank” points, I feel that some of the foods that I am choosing are higher in fat than what I want them to be and what they should be. During my last month of my 3 month agreement with Weight Watcher’s, I am going to double track what I am eating by doing the point system and by also tracking my calories, fat, carbs, protein, fiber, etc and see how things compare. Once I have analyzed both tracking systems for a few weeks, I will then make the decision to continue with Weight Watcher’s or go back to tracking all the other nutritional information.
All in all, I am very happy with how things are going and very proud of myself for still working out on my Schwinn 460 Variable Stride Elliptical Trainer. I am thinking about going through my smaller sized clothes to see how close I am to fitting into them again. My friend GT does something similar to this when she is about to go on vacation and calls it a fashion show. Maybe my little twist on the fashion show will help me stay focus and really see how far I have come on this journey!
Great job on getting through your first week of WW. Fantastic loss. I lost 130 lbs. on WW and it changed my life. I have kept it off now for over a year and a half and I still go to meetings pretty much weekly even though I am at goal. Keep up the good work and you will get to your goal. Awesome job
Congrats on losing 5 lbs.! That is fantastic. WW does work. I should really get back on the wagon.
Thank you for stopping by my blog and you will love Reefs if you try them. They don’t rub and they’re so soft. I love busting out some 80′s lyrics too…so fun!
